Dated to about 1850.   This antique small tea caddy tells of a time when tea was a precious commodity costing an exhorbitant amount and worth storing in beautiful canisters.    This one is silver plate on rich copper.   There are no makers marks.  It is showing some of the bumps that it has sustained over the last 150 or so years.   Still a beautiful piece.   Look at the pictures carefully and dont hesitate to ask any questions.
