An intesting find.  Dinner Gong.   Tea Gong.   This is a delightful reminder of days gone by when diners were summoned to dinner with a gong.    Tea at three in the conservatory overlooking the grounds was also announced with a gong.   Believe me – I was there!!!   No Gong stick.  There is wear on the gong but the main structure just needs a clean.
