An interesting primitive early ebony carved crocodile.  He is fat and heavy and has a nice patina.    Difficult to tell the age but being ebony and primitively carved I think he has some age to him.  Don’t hesitate to ask any questions.

Ebony has a very high density and will sink in water. Its fine texture, and very smooth finish when polished, have made it very valuable as an ornamental wood
